I live in CO at a major ski resort. I take my camera with me every time I go out, whether it’s snowing or sunny skies. This case protects the camera well, and removes my worries about taking my camera into the elements. I can also use every function of my camera without removing my gloves, so my hands stay warm while filming. It’s definately worth the purchase, as it adds range and flexibility to the camera.

i’m a beginer and i purchased these for their for the low price and the recommendations of personal friends and professionals. The uv filter serves its purpose as a protector. The circular polarizer works wonderfully to enhance the colors in bright sunlight and even cloudy conditions. I have used the warming filter a couple of times to take pictures of my fish in my 55gallon saltwater tank, it has worked wonderfully to enhance the colors of my fish through the glass and high output florescent lighting. I would recommend these to anyone not wanting to spent a lot of money after spending a lot on your camera.

Customer Review: Beautiful camera with one major shortcoming
I was attracted to this camera as a new version of the A460, which was highly rated by PC World. It is indeed very simple to use with a large LCD display, much greater resolution than the A70 I bought five years ago, and uses a 2 GB memory chip. The drawback is that the camera has no view finder. You take a picture by looking at it in the LCD display. Customer Review: A good entry-level camera
These PowerShot “A” cameras are Canon’s attempt to deliver the quality and features of its more expensive PowerShot “G” and PowerShot Pro “S” lines (such as full zoom lenses) at a budget price. The results are pretty good. (How do I know? Because I’ve actually gotten to use all of these cameras. I earn my living at Walt Disney World writing a travel guide, and nearly every day guests ask me to take photos of them with their own cameras, which most often are Canon PowerShots.)

It is gread deal to get canon 8mp with 10x zoom, I am very much happy with this.
only the cons with this camera is the flash light is not automatically opens ,we need to manually open the flap, but still it is gr8 deal

I bought this on Feb 15 of this year, got it about a week later. I chose to wait it out. I am very glad I chose this camera. It takes amazing pictures! I was a newbie to the world of digital cameras and was reading up on them when I came across the Canon PowerShot SX100. I am very glad I found it! There are so many things to work with on this camera, I am still learning it. I had not heard anything bad about the camera and decided to go for it. By far, this is the best purchase I have made all year. If you are on the fence with buying this I say go for it, you will not be sorry.
