there is no clear effect on pics more than protect the lens. It is not a good deal

These filters sort of do what they are expected but they are of such low quality that sharp pictures are largely out of the question. The lens and frame both have very low design standards, lack coatings that prevent reflection/fringe, and are threaded in a manner that can cause them to become stuck on an adapter.

Excellent Camera the Picture quality is perfect. It has many functions that can be used for business purposes or just for fun indoors and out door. It has a automatic Red eye removal function that helps if you don’t want to spend too much time reediting your photos once taken.
The zoom is excellent 4x it’s a bit poor on memory but you can buy more quite cheep. It runs on butteries which help when you are up and about with the camera. A must have for the out door mobile enthusiasts.

Bought this camera for my parents (70+ years old) about a year ago. It was fairly easy for them to learn and use. It takes good pictures. Batteries do not last long indoors using flash, so you definately need to get a good set of rechargable batteries for indoor use. Would recommend for anyone needing a medium to low end digital camera of good quality.

I will never buy another regular nimh battery again. I have been using a set of Rayovac HYBRID in my Canon 580 ex Speedlight flash for a year now, and been so impressed with them that I have replaced every other rechargeable battery in my house with these. I knew they were good, but it wasn’t until recently that I found out how good. I was asked to photograph a friends wedding. Inside, after sunset. I needed full flash. I got over 150 flashes, many as fast as I could push the shutter to get the candid shot, before I started to get even a moments delay on recharging the flash. All in all, I ran 200+ flashes in an hour and a half, and still had plenty of charge left for more, although the delay was starting to become noticeable. I have no idea how this compares to a set of lithium batteries, as I have never used anything but rechargeable in this flash unit, but I know it’s 2 - 3 time more then I ever got out of a set of standard rechargeable. I’ve even started intentionally leaving the AA charger, and spare flash batteries, at home, even when I plan on taking night shots during multi day photo trips.
Customer Review: Hybrid batteries ROCK!
I’m a believer in this new generation of batteries. I was using long-life Lithium AA in my BT mouse and everyday camera. That cost me about $10/month to replace. For the same cost, I got a set of AA Hybrids. (about $16 for 8 AA) That’s a one-time cost, so break-even $$ after one month, now “free”. They hold their charge as claimed, you can use your old NiMH charger, and have about 75% as much juice as Lithiums. I swap to freshly-charged batteries every couple weeks, and I’m always ready. No more wondering how much juice left in the expensive Lithiums. Hybrids…yea!!!!

I just received this in the mail and to find out that the anti-glare protectors is only for canon sd lcd’s that are 2inches. The SD870 is 3 inches. I will have to return this product.

I replaced the previous generation SD 800 with this model. After checking in several camera shops, I decided to go with it. The 3″ LCD is very sharp but you cannot see it with sunglasses on. I am getting used to not having a viewfinder. This is an excellent quality small camera. I am using 8gb sdhc memory. Great results
