Customer Review: Great Camera, but there is better.
Great when it came out and still good, but now there is a version with IS!!! for about twenty more. Well worth it to get the newer version with IS.

Customer Review: I’ll back up that don’t buy recommendation!
I ordered a D40x from this company two weeks before leaving on summer vacation. I received a message that the order shipped, but after a few days I got suspicious and called them, only to find that with only three days to go before my vacation started they hadn’t got around to calling me, which is apparently a company prerequisite (so they can sell more? –I don’t know for sure).

Do not purchase from 47th Street Photo. We ordered a digital frame well before Christmas, which NEVER SHIPPED. When we called to ask what happened, they just said they never got our order–even though we got an emailed confirmation saying they would ship within 24 hours! The woman on the phone was quite rude. Then had to fight the crowds at the mall anyway. Stay away!!

I used this product for canon rebel xti camera. This product worked good for 1-2 months, in fact it’s life was comparable to that of the canon battery pack. But after 2-3 months its life just plummeted and now i can take 10-15 shots and that even without flash. It barely lasts to fire 2-3 shots with flash. I would say go for a original canon battery even if you are looking for a back-up cell.

The price is acceptalbe. I got two of these, and they worked as good as the Canon one. It lasts a long time.

I will never buy another regular nimh battery again. I have been using a set of Rayovac HYBRID in my Canon 580 ex Speedlight flash for a year now, and been so impressed with them that I have replaced every other rechargeable battery in my house with these. I knew they were good, but it wasn’t until recently that I found out how good. I was asked to photograph a friends wedding. Inside, after sunset. I needed full flash. I got over 150 flashes, many as fast as I could push the shutter to get the candid shot, before I started to get even a moments delay on recharging the flash. All in all, I ran 200+ flashes in an hour and a half, and still had plenty of charge left for more, although the delay was starting to become noticeable. I have no idea how this compares to a set of lithium batteries, as I have never used anything but rechargeable in this flash unit, but I know it’s 2 - 3 time more then I ever got out of a set of standard rechargeable. I’ve even started intentionally leaving the AA charger, and spare flash batteries, at home, even when I plan on taking night shots during multi day photo trips.
Customer Review: Hybrid batteries ROCK!
I’m a believer in this new generation of batteries. I was using long-life Lithium AA in my BT mouse and everyday camera. That cost me about $10/month to replace. For the same cost, I got a set of AA Hybrids. (about $16 for 8 AA) That’s a one-time cost, so break-even $$ after one month, now “free”. They hold their charge as claimed, you can use your old NiMH charger, and have about 75% as much juice as Lithiums. I swap to freshly-charged batteries every couple weeks, and I’m always ready. No more wondering how much juice left in the expensive Lithiums. Hybrids…yea!!!!
