Customer Review: Beautiful camera with one major shortcoming
I was attracted to this camera as a new version of the A460, which was highly rated by PC World. It is indeed very simple to use with a large LCD display, much greater resolution than the A70 I bought five years ago, and uses a 2 GB memory chip. The drawback is that the camera has no view finder. You take a picture by looking at it in the LCD display. That works fine indoors, but outdoors the daylight washes out the display so that framing a picture is almost guesswork.Canon PowerShot A470 7MP Digital Camera with 3.4x Optical Zoom (Red)
Customer Review: A good entry-level camera
These PowerShot “A” cameras are Canon’s attempt to deliver the quality and features of its more expensive PowerShot “G” and PowerShot Pro “S” lines (such as full zoom lenses) at a budget price. The results are pretty good. (How do I know? Because I’ve actually gotten to use all of these cameras. I earn my living at Walt Disney World writing a travel guide, and nearly every day guests ask me to take photos of them with their own cameras, which most often are Canon PowerShots.)

Canon ACK-DC20 AC Adapter Kit for PowerShot G7, G9 and Digital Rebel XT/XTi
By Mr.canon | August 24, 2008
Canon ACK-DC20 AC Adapter Kit for PowerShot G7, G9 and Digital Rebel XT/XTi The Canon ACK-DC20 AC Adapter Kit is designed to supply uninterrupted power to your Canon PowerShot S80 digital camera while downloading pictures to your computer. It’s also useful for extended work in a studio, or for viewing images while your camera is connected to your TV or VCR. This handy power accessory is perfect for any camera junkie who loves showing off all their photos and spends a lot of time with the PowerShot S80.
Customer Review: ACK-DC20 AC Adapter
Product works well, however the directions are less than specific: Does it recharge the batteries in the camera, do you have to use the batteries that come with it…? As with all Canon products it does what it is supposed to do very well.
Customer Review: AC Adapter kit
This is excellent and the price was right. The item arrived promptly and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Digital Concepts Lens adapter for Canon Powershot S5 IS, S2 IS, and S3 IS
By Mr.canon | August 23, 2008
Digital Concepts Lens adapter for Canon Powershot S5 IS, S2 IS, and S3 IS Digital Concepts Lens Adapter for Canon Powershot S2IS, S3IS
Customer Review: Lens Adapter for S5 IS
the product came in time, could firmly attach to my brand new s5 is, holds prefectly, the aluminium body feels sturdy, that’s why i chose it, cuz the another one by canon itself was told to be made of plastic, which i wud consider as disadvantage, cuz what if u r gonna be screwing in heavy teleconverter lens? just a touch would break the adapter apart, i think…oh well, my personal view though
Customer Review: meh
The color and the thread doesn’t fully match up to my S3. I can imagine if I were to get heavier lenses it would make the adapter droop and might be off. Otherwise its nice to have 58mm thread so that I can throw on a polarizer or a UV lense to protect the stock lense on my s3.

Customer Review: UNABLE TO CHARGE AFTER FIRST CHARGE
Again, another cheap battery. I ended up going to Best Buy to purchase a legitimate replacement. Don’t be suckered in by these cheap, “high capacity,” “quality” batteries like I was.
Customer Review: Reliable replacement
Holds charge well and works like OEM product. Missing the directional arrows the original had, but that’s quibbling. A Sharpie would fix that.

Customer Review: Great Camera, but be aware of color
I owned the SD10 for 4 years. It takes nice pictures (notably not THE best) and is easy to use, but the best feature was always the size. It’s so compact - perfect for a guy like me that wants to shove his camera into a pocket. It was smaller than even my cell phone. So, when it was time to upgrade, the SD40 was the natural choice. I love the new features and updates that the SD40 offers. I was, however, surprised to see the Twilight Sepia version, as when it arrived, the metal trim was gold, not silver like the picture looks or like the other color choices for this model have. I can live with it, but it was not what I was expecting.
Customer Review: Definetly worth it for the price…….
What a neat little camera. I bought it only a month ago, so far so good. I turned it on and began taking pictures immediately. I hate reading instructions and this camera was very user friendly and very compact. I got it for my wife for Valentines day and she adores the color too. I guess the only negative thing I would have to say so far is that the memory card it came with was very small 16mb. I can not take videos for long or save many pics. But, that is a feature you can upgrade. I saw a 4GB on sale at Office Depot for $49.99. I am definetly going to upgrade it so I could take long videos and save hundreds of pics while on vacation. One other thing I notice is that when looking at an image through the LCD sceen, it looks fuzzy. But the picture comes out fine. Maybe I just don’t know how to use all the features yet.Oh and finally, it should come with a carring case. Just my opinion.
